Traffic Ideals
This section may be considered
"traffic regulations" or traffic 'laws', but it will also cover more areas,
and more in depth.
-
The 'speed limit' should be
what appears and feels safe to the driver. Including all considerations
for the environment, car's ability, and the driver's ability. Speed
limit signs should be posted for new drivers, or medians to follow.
The "Median Limit" would be calculated as per fair weather, temperature,
car, and driver by a knowledged scientific team. A vehicle
could be cited for "apparent lack of control", or perhaps "lack of control
on roadway". This is when someone randomly swerves because of applying
make-up, cell phones, drug/alcohol impairment, rowdy children in the car,
and a myriad of reasons other than objects in the road, or contouring to
the road's surfaces. Speeding would then not be a crime, although
unecessarily slamming on the brakes may be.
-
The "yeild sign": All
places where there is a 4 way stop, there should be 4 yeild signs.
It is also known as the Californian stop. At a busy intersection,
cars can still manage to take turns and roll forward at the same time.
This saves brakes and gas, on accelleration. It could also be a potential
reducing factor for traffic back-ups at busy 4 way stops. If this
proves to be a faulty system, the 4 way stop should at least be adapted
to have 2 yeilds and 2 stops and be able to function ok.

A motor cycle sensor for traffic
lights needs to be adapted, many a cyclist have told me that at night motor
cycles are not big enough to make the light change, so they HAVE to run
it, or wait for a car......
